From a big historical point of view, the Hong Kong issue is not a confrontational confrontation between “capitalism” and “socialism,” but rather an issue of how the two can be accommodated together in “one country.” “One country, two systems ” is the key to resolving this ideological dispute. The core concept of “one country, two systems” has put forward a concept above all sectarianism: the basis for the coexistence of national rejuvenation and national development (ie, “one country”) as the “two systems.” Under this concept, it is only a tool choice to choose which kind of “doctrine” to continue to operate after 50 years of reunification. Only by understanding the deep meaning behind design, “one country, two systems” can we be more clear about how Hong Kong should take ownership of the development of the entire country and how to develop its relations with the Mainland more smoothly.
