中小型公共图书馆内的电子阅览室不但可以整合各方面的信息资源,还可以进一步完善信息系统服务项目,满足消费者的多样化需求,进而最大程度的降低建设与管理成本,提高公共图书馆的整体效益。但由于各地方政府对其投入有限,公共图书馆电子阅览室的很多功能尚未被开发出来,研究公共图书馆电子阅览室的建设具有十分重要的意义。本文通过介绍公共图书馆建设电子阅览室的重要作用,指出了电子阅览室存在的一些问题,并提出了相应的解决对策。

This paper introduces the important role of public library in building electronic reading room, points out some problems existing in electronic reading room, and puts forward corresponding solutions.
