Criminology has become an independent subject that is increasingly valued by academics and practical departments of politics and law in our country. Due to the seriousness, long-term and complex nature of the crime issue and the extensive scope of its research, there is an urgent need to compile a large dictionary of criminology. The purpose is threefold: First, to explore the category of criminology, the common criminology terms, terms and concepts. As an independent discipline, criminology has a history of over one hundred years in the world. However, criminality is not only a complicated social phenomenon but also an individual behavior. So far, there has not been a universally acknowledged scientific suspension, What is included is not exactly the same among all academic circles in the world. Even the disciplines of criminology are still a controversial issue in academia. Therefore, we set out to start from basic theoretical work - to explore the category of criminology, to unify the terminology, terms and concepts of criminology. Scientific terms, the first interpretation of the exact same as a noun, often have their special significance in the study of criminology, and other related disciplines vary, the book expects criminological studies, through the process of codification, criminology nouns, Terms and concepts and their categories, consensus, to reduce misunderstandings and differences in scientific research. Second, to provide research tools to promote the development of criminology. “Workers want good things, must first sharpen.” We hope that the advent of this dictionaries can reduce the unnecessary waste of time and work of scholars and practitioners, and concentrate on crime research and crime prevention and treatment to promote the study of criminology A new level. Therefore, we are determined to offer our readers a large-scale reference book with a wide range of knowledge, strong reference and easy search. ?
