L型压缩机的平衡段是为平衡活塞力而设置的.L3.3-17/200型机原设计时各平衡段气体均回一段进口,以保证压缩机整体受力平衡.为提高L型压缩机的打气量,部份合成氨厂对平衡段回气改接:4-5平衡段回三段进口,六-七平衡回四段进口.这样做减少了气缸间的内漏——降低活塞两侧压差,增加了单机产量,故近年来做为一项节能技措推广;但这势必造成各列活塞力变化.
