有人认为绍兴方言中词缀“生”的基本作用与近代汉语中的词缀“生”是一致的,但在用法上发生了演变;我们认为,这话只对了一半,其实,近代汉语中词缀“生”已有用在数量词之后的例子。“生”放在数量词后的用法,别的方言中也有,如浙江的宁波、金华,上海的崇明等。有不少学者认为,词缀“生”在元代以后趋于衰落,其实,在一些方言中,它还有一定的生命力。 Some people think that the basic role of affix “生 ” in Shaoxing dialect is consistent with the affix “生 ” in modern Chinese, but the usage has evolved.
