公路线形优化设计包括纵断面优化设计,平面优化设计和空间线形优化设计。此项研究工作在国外已进行廿余年,并已在生产中得到应用。国内也开展了七、八年。一些实际的设计表明,它能节省5%左右的工程费用。由于优化设计需要进行大量的迭代运算,占用机时很长,因此过去都是在大、中型计算机上进行。随着小型机和微型机的飞速发展,人们已开始把优化程序向小型机或微机上移植,例如交通部第二公路勘察设计院的公路纵坡 Road alignment optimization design includes vertical section optimization design, plane optimization design and space linear optimization design. This research work has been carried out in foreign countries for more than 20 years and has been applied in production. Domestic also carried out seven or eight years.
