交际能力是一个复杂的概念,它包含语言、修辞、心理、文化、社会等诸多因素,是指一个人通过语言(口头语或书面语)或副语言(身势语)等来达到某一特定交际目的的行为。美国社会语言学家Dwell Hymes最早提出“交际能力”一词,即对一种语言的语言形式的理解和掌握,并且能随时随地灵活熟练地运用这种语言方式与他人交流。语言学家Littlewood则从四个方面对其进行解释:清晰表达思想、明白语言作用、明白双方的身份和所处场合、说话得体。本文将从以上四点出发对英语口语的教学进行深入探讨,提出可行的建议以提高学生英语口语交际能力。
Communicative competence is a complex concept which contains many factors such as language, rhetoric, psychology, culture, society and so on. It means that a person achieves a specific communicative purpose through verbal (verbal or written language) or vice language (body language) the behavior of. American social linguist Dwell Hymes first put forward the word “communicative competence”, which means understanding and mastery of the language form of a language and using this language to communicate with others in a flexible and skilled manner whenever and wherever possible. Linguist Littlewood explained it in four ways: to express his thoughts clearly, to understand the role of language, to understand both the identity and circumstances, and to speak properly. This article will proceed from the above four points in-depth discussion of oral English teaching, put forward feasible suggestions to improve students’ oral English communication skills.
