工程地质钻探是考察地质剖面和确定地层物理力学性质的极重要任务之一。钻探野外编录,目的就是在于分析地层的结构和构造,弄清各分层产状层序、层厚和接触位置,有无包裹体、洞穴、混合物及夹层(尤其是弱夹层),地层的稠度和含水性等。岩土勘察分为可行性研究勘察、初步勘察、详细勘察等,本文主要论述了勘察设计过程中的详细勘察阶段,即如何进行野外辨认岩土层和对其进行分类编录。
