随着老年人口的增加及人群对卫生服务需求的提高,尤其是卫生事业费的猛增,拥有庞大职工队伍的美国卫生保健部门已经成为美国政策制定者、病人和医疗保险部门考虑的焦点。为了给有关部门提供信息,现就美国卫生保健部门职工(以下简称卫生职工)的状况、1970~1986年的发展趋势及卫生事业经费的增长等问题进行了分析。方法本文所指卫生职工包括在卫生保健机构内提供服务,领取工资或交纳个人所得税的所有人员。本文所用资料来源: 一、有关卫生职工的资料来自于人口普查局的“人口普查报告”,目前只能得到1979年以前的资料;②美国劳动局、劳动统计处月报“雇员和工资”;③美国卫生和人类服务局出版的“美国卫生”。
With the increase of the elderly population and the increase in demand for health services from the population, especially the increase in the cost of health services, the US health care sector with a large workforce has become the focus of consideration by US policy makers, patients, and medical insurance departments. In order to provide information to the relevant departments, the status of the health care workers in the United States (hereinafter referred to as health workers), the development trend from 1970 to 1986, and the increase in funding for health services are analyzed. Methods The health workers referred to in this article include all persons who provide services within the health care institutions and receive wages or pay personal income tax. Sources of information used in this paper: 1. The information on health workers comes from the “census report” of the Census Bureau. At present, only the information before 1979 can be obtained; 2 “Employees and wages” of the monthly report of the US Labor Bureau and the Labor Statistics Office; 3 U.S. Health published by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
