本文以晚明名士米万钟订造的瓷器为研究对象,结合窑址调查、园林遗迹、书画史料等,解读米氏订造瓷的工艺特征、设计理念,追溯其订造使用功能,考证其订造时间、订造途径,从而还原米氏订造瓷与其园林营造之间的时空对应关系。本文尝试从瓷器这一生活器用的角度探讨名士米万钟的个性情操、宗教信仰及其造园思想,并认为米家书画船和佛教信仰是米氏园林营造中的两个主题,其本人极具个性魅力,是晚明奇趣品味风尚的领导者。米氏订造瓷既为米氏园林营造而产生,同时在陶瓷史上亦具有重要意义,代表了明末清初景德镇制瓷业的新风尚。
