在分析了我国油菜遗传育种形势后,认为:①抗病育种未开展系统研究,用中草药与油菜进行远缘杂交可能是抗病育种的重要途径;②油菜属间远缘杂交研究甚少,应该借鉴小麦属间杂交育种,拓宽我国甘蓝型油菜的遗传基础;③作者通过用菘蓝(板蓝根)、荠菜与甘蓝型油菜属间杂交成功的事例,认为孟德尔创建的种内杂交等位基因遗传学,难于指导和解释远缘杂交工作,应该创建新理论。
