课余运动队的训练受多种因素制约,其中最普遍、最经常、最关键的影响因素就是运动队学生的出勤问题。为此,笔者以天津市塘沽区实验小学田径运动队学生为研究对象。通过个别谈话、家庭访问、小规模座谈和观察表现等个案研究方法,了解运动队学生出勤与缺勤原因。运动队学生100名,包括男女各5个组(超龄组和甲、乙、丙、丁组),并在每年春秋两季运动会后,按通常采用的办法进行人员调整,使人数不变。在运动队学生中对长期缺勤者和间或缺勤者进行缺勤原因的调查:选择适当时机,创造平和气氛,与缺勤者个别谈话,了解真实原因,然后根据其提供的原因,或深入其家庭中访问家长,或开有关教师座谈会,对其提供的原因进行深入了解与核实;对坚持出勤者进行随机谈话和观察,了解坚持出勤原
