随着我国交通运输事业迅速发展和国际地位不断提高,航空港的客货流量急剧增加,外事活动越来越多,因此首都机场在65年和74年先后两次扩建。机场进入市区只有一条路,这条路除了天竺到机场段(占全长的1/7左右)在80年扩建过一次外,其它段运行了30多年至今维持旧貌:路宽仅7~9m,技术标准低,设施旧,平交路口多,快慢车混行,因此交通不时发生阻塞,事故迭出。这种状况远远不能与国家最大的航空基地相配套,与首都的政治
With the rapid development of China’s transport industry and the continuous improvement of its international status, the airport has witnessed a sharp increase in the volume of passenger and cargo traffic and more and more foreign affairs. Therefore, the capital airport expanded successively twice in 65 and 74 years. The airport has only one road into the urban area. In addition to the Tianzhu to the airport section (accounting for about 1/7 of the total length), it has been expanded once in 80 years.
