Normal faulting plate breaks are usually not well exposed because of the tectonic or topographic location they are in. However, in central Arizona, the Fethian fault and the bedrock of the Oak Creek fault had good bedrock outcrop due to river erosion. Both the Fode and Okexi faults are typical dip-slip normal faults. The scratches of the Fode fault have an inclination of 70 ° -90 °. The small-scale folds along the Oak Creek fault are almost certainly a reflection of fault movement, indicating a high degree of tilt from the slip vector. Neither of these faults is related to any configuration that indicates a significant rotational or diagonal component of motion. Outcrops of extruded structures can be easily observed along these two faults, both brittle and ductile. Figure 1 shows the three study areas, the Guddersdon Moutain, the Fode fault, and the Banshan Highway in the Buluotai and Okexi faults.
