Effect of Tea Polyphenols on +Gz Induced Brain Injury in Rats

The effects of tea polyphenols (TP) on mitochondrial lipid peroxidation, blood brain barrier (BBB) permeability, mitochondrial adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase) activity and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) content in cerebral cortices of rats underwent repeated +10 Gz exposures were observed in this experiment. The results showed that TP had significantly inhibitive effect on mitochondrial malondialdehyde (MDA) formation in brains of rats underwent +Gz exposures, but no significant effects on superoxide dismutase (SOD) and selenium dependent glutathione peroxidase (SeGSHpx) activities. TP had remarkable protective effect on +Gz induced BBB injury, as indicated by measuring the leakage of Evan's blue. In addition, TP could substantially increase mitochondrial ATPase activity and ATP content in cerebral cortices of rats. These results suggested that natural antioxidant TP had protective effect on +Gz induced brain injury in rats.

本实验研究旨在观察+GZ负荷对膈肌收缩性能的影响及超微结构的变化。以33只雄性SD大鼠为实验对象。分为对照组、+GZ组及+GZ+辅酶Q10药物组。对照组(12只)直接处死取膈肌试验;+GZ组(10只)予生理盐水5ml·kg-1·d-1腹腔注射3d后,经受+GZ负荷(头向心位、自+4GZ开始,每上升+1GZ持续3min,直至+10GZ,共21min);+GZ+辅酶Q10药物组(11只),予辅酶Q10
测定5名志愿被试者在34-35℃环境中着用带呼吸囊管式背心抗荷服时的加权平均皮肤温度(Ts)、囊下局部皮肤温度、口腔温度等指标。结果表明,与不带呼吸囊组比较,管式背心加呼吸囊后除局部皮肤温度略有升高(1.2±0.1℃)外,其他各项指标均无显著差别(P>0.05)。初步认为,在环境热负荷强度不大时,该装备不会引起飞行员显著热应激。
