小儿发热是儿科常见的,严格地说发热是症不是病,许多疾病均可引起,临床上的小儿发热多与外感风寒,体质阴虚,肺胃实热有关。单从小儿科疾病而言就有潮热、惊热、风热、烦热、脾热、虚热、实热、积热、疳热、温热、血热、骨蒸热等,这些病症其中有真热假寒、真寒假热之分,祖国医学又把发热分为表里虚实之热。作者于2001年9月～2004年12月在完成一国家中医药管理局课题《高氏揉捏法治疗小儿伤食泻的临床研究》,课题编号(国中医药科2001ZL10号)时,发现在门诊手法推拿治疗患儿过程中,经常接触小儿发热患儿,经临床辩证分类后对症施以小儿推拿手法,每每收到明显的疗效。随后在门诊与儿科合作,至2005年7月间共收治发热患儿89例,其中外感束表症33例,风热袭肺症87例,阴虚内热症12例,实热发热症7例。针对每一型患儿的致病因素及起因不同,临床症状也不同,在中医辩证的基础上,运用不同的小儿推拿手法组合,辩证加减,经临床观察98%以上的患儿经中医临床辨证分型,施以小儿推拿手法诊治,能收到比较满意的临床治疗效果。
