工业V2O3产品为粉状,堆密度仅为0.6~1.2 g/cm3,不利于提高其后续冶炼收率;由于V2O3的熔点较高,只能选择物理方法提高其密度。采用干法造粒成型工艺,通过降低压辊转速、增加压辊压强等方法可以获得相对密度较高的造粒物,造粒过程中采用多次排气,并施加120 N/cm2的机械成型压力,使其密度提高到1.7~2.1g/cm3;使用高密度氧化钒制备钒铁,钒收率由89%~92%提高到94%~97%,且钒铁产品的结晶品质有所改善。
