《傲慢与偏见》是英国女作家简·奥斯丁的代表作,它形象地描述了18世纪末19世纪初英国中产阶级的生活状况及社会意识,它以当时闭塞、保守的英国乡镇生活为背景,突出了社会等级、婚恋态度、经济形态和习俗偏见等社会现实。在作者生存的时代,女性被剥夺各种发展机会,她们无论在家庭中还是在社会活动中都无法实现自己的意志,进行自由选择。由此,简·奥斯丁在这种父权阶级制度下,创作出《傲慢与偏见》,呼吁女性的权利。
Pride and Prejudice is the representative of Jane Austen, a British female writer. It vividly describes the living conditions and social awareness of the British middle class from the late 18th century to early 19th century. Against the background of the blocked and conservative British township life, Highlighted the social reality, such as social class, marriage attitude, economic form and custom prejudice. In the era in which the author lived, women were deprived of various opportunities for development. They were unable to realize their own will and make free choices both in their families and in their social activities.
