上海市有一张报龄最短而读者年龄最高的报纸,这就是今年一月创刊的以广大离、退休干部、职工和各界老人为主要对象的《上海老年报》,它是由中共上海市委老干部局和上海市老龄问题委员会主办的四开四版周报。由于它坚持为各界老年人服务的宗旨,力求深入浅出、雅俗共赏,仅管版面小、容量小,但老人们仍认为创办老年报是党和政府对老年人的关怀,他们赞赏《上海老年报》是“我们老年人自己的报纸”!
