Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory disease. Although existing therapies can alleviate the condition of some patients, they are still unsatisfactory, so people are always exploring new therapies. With the further elucidation of RA immunopathological processes and the development of bioengineering techniques, biological therapies have been tried to treat RA. By biological therapy is meant the biological treatment of selectively targeting the immune system involved in the inflammatory response of cells or molecules for therapeutic purposes. Biological agents include molecules produced by immune cells or cells involved in the inflammatory response and derivatives, antagonists, or genetic recombinants of these molecules.
