The study shows that although the magnitude-5.0 South Yellow Sea earthquake was farther away from Jiangsu’s geomagnetic network, the F21 measured at Nantong Station still had a higher level of anomalies with an amplitude of about 22 months before the earthquake However, it is still more difficult to predict the three elements of the earthquake
