金针菇分解木材的能力较其它木腐菌弱,栽培后剩下的培养基残渣,一般为收获量的3~4倍(湿料重),至少还有一半未被利用。据日本的国松丰对新鲜的金针菇培养基残渣成分分析结果,水份45.3%、粗蛋白4.8%、粗脂肪1.9%、粗纤维28.19%。由此可见,金针菇的培养基残渣中尚有一定的营养成分。为此,笔者于1981年开始利用残渣进行栽培比较,至1983年共试验三批,现简报如下。
Flammulina can decompose wood more weakly than other wood rot fungi.
