目的探讨新疆维吾尔族和汉族食管鳞状细胞癌(鳞癌)基因EphA2和hMSH2 mRNA的表达情况及其与临床病理特征之间的关系。方法采用RT-PCR技术检测EphA2和hMSH2 mRNA在30例新疆维吾尔族和30例汉族食管鳞癌组织及其对应的远隔无癌食管组织中的表达。结果 EphA2在食管癌组织和远隔无癌组织中的相对表达量分别为0.269±0.040和0.153±0.023,P=0.013;hMSH2分别为0.674±0.039和0.797±0.035,P=0.022。在汉族和维吾尔族食管鳞癌组织中EphA2的阳性表达率分别为50%和63.3%,P=0.297;hMSH2的阳性表达率分别为40%和50%,P=0.436。EphA2与hMSH2的表达之间呈负相关。结论 EphA2和hMSH2在两民族食管鳞癌中的表达无差异;EphA2高表达和hMSH2低表达可能共同促进食管鳞癌的发生发展。
Objective To investigate the expression of EphA2 and hMSH2 mRNA in Uygur and Han esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (Squamous Cell Carcinoma) and their relationship with clinicopathological features. Methods RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of EphA2 and hMSH2 mRNA in 30 cases of Uygur and 30 cases of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma of Han and their corresponding distant non-cancerous esophageal tissues. Results The relative expression levels of EphA2 in esophageal carcinoma and distant non-cancerous tissues were 0.269 ± 0.040 and 0.153 ± 0.023, respectively, P = 0.013; hMSH2 was 0.674 ± 0.039 and 0.797 ± 0.035, respectively, P = 0.022. The positive expression rates of EphA2 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma of Han and Uigur were 50% and 63.3%, respectively, P = 0.297; the positive rates of hMSH2 were 40% and 50%, respectively, P = 0.436. There was a negative correlation between EphA2 and hMSH2 expression. Conclusion There is no difference in the expression of EphA2 and hMSH2 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma between two ethnic groups. High expression of EphA2 and low expression of hMSH2 may promote the development of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
