This article was published in the United States “Chemical Education”, 55, No. 5 (1978). Professor Doris Kolb is a columnist on “Chemical principles revisited”. This column is designed to provide middle school chemistry teachers with basic teaching concepts, basic theory and other teaching methods. Its main contents include the basic concepts and development history of basic theory, teaching content and teaching methods. This compilation is the second part of the “teaching of chemical equations” “redox reaction”; the first part of the “simple reaction” includes: the meaning of chemical equations, development history, writing, trimming and application, thermochemical equation, ion Formulations, trims, and notes for equations and equations for organic chemistry. “The teaching of chemical equations” has many contents throughout, and the narrative is more detailed. Due to space limitations, only the main contents of the second part are compiled to reflect, to a certain extent, the current situation and dynamics of chemistry teaching in some American middle schools.
