Small and medium-sized shallow lakes in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, the current sedimentation quite intense. Some lakes have become land-based and many are rapidly moving towards swamping. In order to understand the sedimentation and explore the evolution and development trend of lakes, we chose Wuchang East Lake as a pilot to study the beginning of lakes in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. At the same time, aquatic vascular plants and zoobenthos are closely related to Dictyostella; organic debris at the bottom of the lake is also the bait of some fish and invertebrates; therefore, as a first step of the entire work, It is also of practical significance to aquatic biology and the national economy.
