托马斯把一些自明的基本诫命看作实践理性的超验原理,这些超验原理亦称“自然法”。本文围绕自然法讨论托马斯的实践理性与道德体系。这个体系包括道德至上原理、自然倾向、本性与良知等要素。如果说,根植于上帝永恒法的自然法是托马斯实践理性的超验原理,那么,自然倾向、性道德与良知则构成托马斯关于人性、自然和理性三者相互共属的道德观念体系。本文还兼及中世纪哲学合法性限度。
Thomas regards some self-evident basic commandments as the transcendental principles of practical reason. These transcendental principles are also called “natural laws.” This article discusses Thomas’ s practical reason and moral system around natural law. This system includes such elements as moral supremacy, natural tendency, nature and conscience. If we say that the natural law rooted in the eternal law of God is a transcendental principle of Thomas’ practical reason, then natural tendencies, sexual morality, and conscience constitute Thomas’s system of moral conceptions of humanity, nature and reason. This article also covers the limits of the legitimacy of medieval philosophy.
