作者拟从下面四个方面来研究土的强度性质,它们不仅具有基本意义,而且对于工程师来讲也有实际的重要性。(1)破坏标准,它用来表示强度试验的结果,如果中主应力存在,则能反映中主应力的影响;(2)由于目前建造的土坝和堆石坝的高度大大增加,在高应力作用下土的特性;(3)由于土的各向异性,以及土样的代表性不够,这两者的影响,因而难以确定
The author intends to study the strength properties of soil from the following four aspects. They not only have a basic meaning, but also have practical significance for engineers. (1) Destruction criteria, which are used to indicate the results of strength tests. If intermediate principal stresses exist, they can reflect the effects of intermediate principal stresses; (2) The heights of currently constructed earth dams and rock fill dams are greatly increased, (3) Due to the anisotropy of the soil and the insufficient representation of the soil sample, the influence of both is difficult to determine.
