Objective: To explore the value of combined detection of serum tumor specific growth factor (TSGF), carbohydrate antigen CA15-3 and carcinoembryonic antigen CEA in the diagnosis of breast cancer. Methods: The blood samples from 128 patients with breast cancer, 64 patients with benign breast diseases and 30 healthy controls were collected. The content of TSGF was determined by biochemical colorimetric assay. The levels of CA15-3 and CEA were detected by chemiluminescence immunoassay. Results: The levels of TSGF, CA15-3 and CEA in breast cancer group were significantly higher than those in benign breast disease group and healthy group (P <0.05). The positive rates of TSGF, CA15-3 and CEA in breast cancer group were 48.4%, 36.7% and 17.9% respectively. The positive rate of combined detection of breast cancer was 67.9%. Conclusion: The detection of TSGF, CA15-3 and CEA alone is of great significance to breast cancer. Combined detection can improve the diagnosis rate of breast cancer and improve the sensitivity and accuracy of diagnosis.
