美国硅谷最大的公司惠普公司去年通过因特网招收了1000名新员工,成为美国网上招聘的带头者。 惠普在全球有雇员12万多人。这家公司说,网上招聘既方便又省钱,今后通过这种方式招募员工的比例还会增加。 和惠普一样,美国许多公司和机构都把因特网看作招募员工的重要工具之一,同时很多美国人也在因特网上寻找就业机会。近年来,招聘广告、个人简历、职业目录、培训班和职业介绍洽谈会在网上层出不穷。据专家们估计,美国今年的网上的招聘广告比去年增加了一倍。

In recent years, recruitment advertisements, resumes, career directories, training courses and job placement seminars have sprung up online. Experts estimate that the United States this year’s online job advertisements doubled over last year.
