国际市场对一国经济的发展和增长正起着越来大的作用。笔者近年来一直在我国外贸理论界倡导“市场领土论”,所谓“市场领土论”,质言之就是在当代国际条件下,领土的地域概念正逐渐向市场概念转化,市场重于领土,市场就是生存空间和发展空间。国际经济活动的相互融合渗透,既扩大了各国活动空间,更增强了市场容量,扩大了市场的吸纳能力和资源配置活动,从而对世界各国都带来了发展的利益。对于人均资源少的中国而言,占有世界市场份额的多少是经济高效率动作和高效益运转的最大动力,只有当中国的产品和企业参与全球资源配置对大部分外国消费者的生活产生影响时,中国的国威和国力就真正强大了。
