Spindle checkpoints block cells from entering the late division until all of the chromosome centromere links correctly with the microtubules, assuring equal distribution of chromosomes and maintaining genome stability. Spindle checkpoint molecular regulation mechanism has been initially established. Many tumor cells have spindle checkpoint dysfunction, but spindle checkpoint gene mutation is extremely rare, which needs deep understanding of tumor spindle checkpoint regulation mechanism, providing new and effective strategies for tumor prevention and treatment
