尽管卡环作为可摘局部义齿(RPD)的固位体还存在不少缺点,但其应用仍十分广泛。此外,有报道认为导平面板亦有助于RPD的固位。本研究评价了减少卡环数如何影响RPD的固位以及导平面板能否提供摩擦阻力,并发现如果同时检查脱位力的方向和位置则其结果更与临床相关。材料和方法用低融合金作双侧第二前磨牙及第一磨牙都缺失的上颌部分缺牙模型。分别在第—前磨牙及第二磨牙上作钴-铬冠,并在其邻近缺隙侧作导平面板及预备骀支托凹。使用观测仪在第二磨牙牙冠远颊面的龈1/3及第一前磨牙牙冠近颊面的龈1/3标出0.25mm的倒凹区域。取主模型印模并复制10个耐火
Although the snap ring retains many shortcomings as a removable partial denture (RPD) retainer, its application is still widespread. In addition, it is reported that the guide plate also helps RPD retention. The present study evaluated how decreasing the number of clasp affects the RPD retention and whether the guide plate provides frictional resistance and finds that the outcome is more clinically relevant if the orientation and location of dislocation forces are also examined. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A maxillary partial denture model with low fusion gold for the absence of both the second premolar and the first molar was used. Cobalt-chromium crowns were made on the first premolar and the second molars, respectively, and the guide plate and the preparatory superandum support concave were made near the gap side. The gingival area 1/3 on the far buccal surface of the second molar crown and the gingiva 1/3 on the near buccal surface of the first premolar crown were marked with a 0.25 mm undercut area using an observer. Take the main model impression and copy 10 fire-resistant
