甲酰四氢叶酸(5-Formyltetrahydrofolic acid,Folinic acid,CF),系5-N-甲酰基-5,6,7,8-四氢叶酸,经体内代谢活化成还原型叶酸辅因子(N~5-甲基四氢叶酸,MTHF;N~(5,10)亚甲基四氢叶酸,mTHF等),不需经DHFR通路,参予一碳基的转移,促使核酸、蛋白质的合成。当其细胞外浓度超过叶酸类抗代谢药甲氨喋呤(MTX)时,能竞争性进入细胞,起解毒作用。如临床使用的大剂量MTX、四氢叶酸解救方案(HD-MTX-CF)。CF能起氟尿嘧啶(5-Fluorouracil,5-Fu)的生化调节作用。5Fu在体内代谢成氟脱氧尿甙-磷酸
