pl6INK4a基因在细胞周期调控RB通路中发挥着负反馈调节作用,决定着细胞周期的正常运转和细胞增殖、分化及凋亡,并与多种人类肿瘤的发生、发展、治疗与预后密切相关。综述pl6INK4a基因及其蛋白的表达在宫颈癌中的研究现状,发现pl6INK4a基因甲基化是宫颈癌发生的早期事件,pl6INK4a在HPV阳性的宫颈上皮内瘤样病变,宫颈腺上皮内病变,宫颈鳞癌及腺癌(ADCA)中呈高表达,且随着病变加重表达增强,而正常宫颈上皮、间质、化生和炎性细胞pl6INK4a表达呈阴性,这一特性使得其在检测宫颈癌及其癌前病变、预测病变进展及判断预后等方面有潜在的临床应用价值。
