粤北地区辉绿岩脉发育于下石炭统顶界以下的地层中,与层控硫化物矿体伴生。辉绿岩化学成分、稀土元素组成和稳定同位素组成均具深源岩浆岩特点,侵位于早石炭世末期或中石炭世早期。辉绿岩的侵位是本区地壳运动性质发生变化、断裂系统由较浅层次向较深层次转化的结果,同时也是同沉积断裂作用及海底喷溢沉积成矿活动结束的信号
Diabase dikes in northern Guangdong are developed in the strata beneath the top of the Lower Carboniferous and are associated with layer-controlled sulfide ore bodies. The chemical compositions, REE composition and stable isotopic compositions of diabase are characterized by deep-sourced magmatic rocks that intruded at the end of Early Carboniferous or early Middle Carboniferous. The emplacement of diabase is the result of the change of crustal movement in this area, and the transformation of the fault system from the shallower to the deeper layers, as well as the signal of the end of the sedimentary succession due to synsedimentary faulting
