APP’s parent company, Indonesia’s SinarMas Group, plans to build a 400,000-ton hardwood pulp mill at Jinjiang Paper in Zhenjiang. SinarMas has signed a $400 million investment project agreement with the Zhenjiang municipal government. APP sees this as an important strategy for expanding its business in China in the future.
