Catalysis plays an important role in economic development. In developed countries, the contribution of catalytic technology to the economy is as high as 20% to 30% of GNP. Catalytic technology has made a significant contribution to the optimal utilization of fossil fuels, especially for oil refining and natural gas conversion, the production of new materials and fine chemicals, the elimination of industrial pollution and the protection of the environment.
