Through the analysis of type 2 diabetes (NIDDM) core pedigrees, the extent to which genetic factors play a role in core family members is explored. The results showed that the incidence of NIDDM was significantly higher in the first degree relatives of the core family members than in the control group (χ2 = 17.0, P <0.001), and the relative risk (RR) was 3.30 and the 95% confidence interval 1.80 ~ 6.05. Both parents, siblings and children, were relatives of the incidence was significantly higher than the control; case of relatives, regardless of age and sex, the standardized incidence rate (SIR) were significantly higher than the control population of 100, the statistical Z The test had a very significant significance. The RR and attributional risk (AR)% of case-core pedigrees were also significantly higher, further illustrating the strong association between blood relationship and NIDDM.
