Message of Condolence

Her Excellency Mrs. Rocio Maneiro Gonzalez
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to China
Shocked to learn the demise of His Excellency Hugo Chavez， President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. I， on behalf of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries， extend to you， and through the Venezuelan Embassy in China， to the people of Venezuela and the family of the President， my most profound condolences.
President Hugo Chavez was a great friend of the Chinese people who had made outstanding contributions to the promotion of friendship between China and Venezuela. His death is a great loss to the people of our two countries.
He will always live in our hearts.
I avail myself of this opportunity to renew to you the assurances of my highest consideration.
