到本世纪末,我国北方缺水少林的现象,要得到根本的好转,需要打井配泵提取地下水,还需要从南方调水,建泵站输水;我国南方大型排涝和小型灌排也需要大量的排灌机械;在农业上田间用水量大,需要推广喷滴灌等新技术,也要高效节能的喷灌机具;我国还需要适当开发与各种能源配套的排灌机械。水是一个极关重要的问题,至本世纪末,我国年用水量将由现在的四千亿米~3提高到六千亿米~3,据统计地下水、地水表开发利用仅占可利用的12—20%,而现有排灌动力已占农机总动力约40%,所以随着国民经济用水量的增加,研制各种类型优质高效的排灌机械,将对国家的发展起着举足轻重的作用。
