Taoqupognathus is a polymolecular organism of the Pandell Stingray. The obvious features: one-dimensional, flaky, with varying degrees of development of the posterior margin. The genus is only distributed in the Upper Ordovician in the eastern part of Australia and China. Four species are known, and the regional comparative value is more accurate. The sequence analysis of the morphological characteristics shows that the T. philipi-T. Blandus-T. tumidus lineage represents the major evolutionary trend of this genus in the mid-late Ordovician (Eastonian). The distribution of the genus Taoqupognathus indicates that there was a close biogeographical connection between eastern Australia and China. The genus may have originated in central New South Wales from early Eas tonian and reached a climax during the mid-late Eastonian period, spreading to all parts of China. It may then be extinct in the late Eastonian or early Bolindian.
