在大田条件下,以普通小麦郑麦-004(Triticum aestivum cv.Zhengmai-004)为试验材料,研究了孕穗—开花期喷施马来酰肼(Maleic hydrazide,MH)的200 mg/L、500 mg/L和1 000 mg/L水溶液对小麦相对雄性不育率和旗叶生理特性的影响。结果表明,MH提高了小麦相对雄性不育率且随处理浓度升高效应增强,其中1 000 mg/L MH处理抽穗期旗叶中可溶性糖含量和孕穗-抽穗期POD活性较高,孕穗-开花期叶片可溶性蛋白质含量、SOD活力较低,这可能是其诱导小麦雄性不育发生的重要原因;开花期可溶性糖含量较低可能与MH对小麦生理特性的抑制有关;CAT活力与相对雄性不育率的变化之间关系不密切。MDA含量低于对照,有助于其保持雌蕊正常的育性。
