翻译是英语教学中的一项重要内容,越来越受到高校及社会的重视,对此研究有效提高学生基础翻译能力、练就扎实的基本功尤为重要,该文论述了语法翻译教学法在大学基础翻译教学中的价值及作用,指出语法翻译虽然在过去几十年中,被批评为过时的、落后的教学法,但从辩证的、客观的视角来看,语法翻译教学法对于初学翻译、双语语法转换仍然存在问题的学生来说,起着积极的作用。 Translation is an important part of English teaching.
