通过隐翅虫皮炎并眼部组织损害５４例临床观察，初步了解隐翅虫的生活特性，为昼伏夜出，趋光性，夏秋雨季潮湿闷热天气特活跃。发病原因是虫体毒素及皮损处分泌物侵犯眼组织所致。表现眼睑皮肤红肿痛，眼部刺激症状，重者全身发热不适。经抗炎、防治感染等治疗预后较好，同时，提出预防措施。
