For He Hong, under the background of China's takeoff, the “Hundred Talents Program” made him “born at the right moment.” He also adopted this plan to practice his own Chinese dream. He Hong, a researcher at the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, remembers that, 13 years ago, when he proposed to return to work as a co-mentor Professor J.C.Polanyi, the Nobel Prize laureate in chemistry wondered. Polanyi set the tone with him and tried to persuade him to continue his basic research at the University of Toronto. However, Hong Wang mind has been resolved. What he thought urgently was not a purely basic research but an issue of air pollution as China's economy took off.
