★为庆祝香港回归和党的“十五大”胜利召开,湖北省统计局、省统计学会和东风汽车公司联合举办的全省“东风汽车杯”统计知识竞赛于9月26日在湖北电视台《欢快今宵》特别文艺节目中举行了颁奖晚会,给这次历时5个月的盛大活动划上了圆满的句号。晚会上,举行了隆重而又热烈的抽奖颁奖仪式,省政协副主席徐晓春、省政府副秘书长胡运钊、省委宣传部副部长李德华、省统计局局长、省统计学会会长吴勉坚等领导同志亲自到会并颁奖;东风汽车公司等联办、协办单位领导同志到会并参加抽奖。本次竞赛活动共抽出个人奖1104名,其中一等奖1名,二等
