在滑片式压缩机中,滑片是关键零件之一。其结构设计的合理与否,既直接关系到整机的性能,可靠性与耐久性,又直接关系到制造上的工艺性。目前在滴油或喷油润滑的一些较小排量的滑片式压缩机中,多采用以钢、铸铁等材质的金属滑片。金属滑片由于材质本身强度高,与通常采用以酚醛树脂纤维等材质的塑料滑片相比,其厚度尺寸要小得多,带来不少结构上的好处;另一方面金属滑片制造相对较容易,成本较低,使甩寿命也高得多。例如一般塑料滑片的工作寿命仅2500h左右,而以采用铸铁滑片的英国海卓万(Hydrovane)压缩机公司PU系列滑片式压缩机为例,宣称滑片寿命高达10~5h。
