明中叶开始,王阳明的心学在批判程朱理学的过程中成长起来,心学的发展促成了思想界和文化界的深刻反思,反映到绘画上就是加速了由情感封闭型向开放型的转变。绘画中以画寄情,强调自心自性的本质特征就几乎成为一切文人画家的宗旨。明清时期我国绘画中写意花鸟画的发展最快,其中以折枝形式出现的花鸟画,在继承前代的基础上有了相当大的提高,并涌现出了大量的画家,给绘画界注入了生机。折枝花鸟画这种具有独特形式意味的绘画语言,较之其它绘画艺术更是把对精神本质的探求上升到了前所未有的高度。
Starting from the middle of the Ming Dynasty, Wang Yangming’s psychology grew up in the process of criticizing Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism. The development of psychology led to profound introspection from the thought world and the cultural world. Reflected in the painting, it accelerated the transition from a closed-form emotional to an open-type . Paintings in the painting to send love, emphasizing the essential characteristics of self-nature has almost become the purpose of all literati painters. In the Ming and Qing dynasties, the freehand bird and flower paintings in the painting of our country developed the most rapidly. Among them, the flower and bird paintings that appeared in the form of folding branches had been greatly improved on the basis of inheriting the previous generation and a large number of painters emerged, vitality. This kind of uniquely shaped painting language, such as the flower-and-bird painting of a branch, raises the search for the spiritual essence to an unprecedented level compared with other painting arts.
