热套容器中的环向焊缝受机械应力及热应力作用会产生疲劳。采用止裂焊缝结构能否提高环焊缝的焊接质量和改善焊缝的疲劳性能,国内外均无明确结论。为了解止裂焊缝的性能与作用,本文对目前国内热套容器制造中使用较多的一种带止裂焊缝的环焊缝试件进行疲劳性能方面的试验研究。研究表明,止裂焊缝对改善焊缝疲劳性能有显著作用,带止裂焊缝与不带止裂焊缝两种试件的疲劳裂纹形成寿命有很大差别,并且与层间间隙的大小有一定关系。
