通过对山东济宁煤田东区太原组类动物群的系统研究 ,共鉴定出类化石 15属 10 8种。根据类化石在地层中的分布和垂向的变化规律 ,自上而下建立一个带三个亚带 :Pseudoschwagerina带 ,3)Boultoniawillsi Schwagerinacervicalis亚带 ,2 )Pseudofusulinasphaeroidea Schwagerinaneolata亚带 ,1)Rugosofusulinacom plicata Quasifusulinalongissima亚带。通过与邻区及华北部分地区对比 ,本区太原组类动物群的地质时代为早二叠世早期 ,本区石炭 二叠系应置于太原组第十一层灰岩之底 By systematically studying the ichthyogas fauna from the Taiyuan Formation in the eastern Jining coalfield of Shandong Province, a total of 10 8 species of 15 genera of  fossils were identified. According to the distribution and vertical variation of  fossils in the strata, three subfamilies  Pseudoschwagerina belt, 3) Boultoniawillsi Schwagerinacervicalis sub-belt, 2) Pseudofusulinasphaeroidea Schwagerinaneolata subtropical zone, 1) Rugosofusulinacom plicata Quasifusulinalongissima subtropical zone. By comparison with the neighboring areas and parts of North China, the geological age of the  fauna in the Taiyuan Formation in this area is early Early Permian, and the Carboniferous Permian in this area should be placed at the bottom of the limestone in the eleventh layer of the Taiyuan Formation
